coolbananas.video ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Account info — name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
• Content you upload — screenshots, photos, logos, and brand assets you provide for video generation
• Usage data — which features you use, project counts, and video generation history

We also automatically collect:

• Device & browser info — browser type, operating system, screen size
• Log data — IP address, access times, pages viewed

2. How we use your data

• To generate videos from your uploaded content
• To operate and improve the service
• To send account-related emails (password resets, billing receipts)
• To enforce our terms and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your uploaded content for training AI models.

3. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload. We only use your uploaded screenshots and assets to generate the videos you request. Generated videos are yours.

4. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on servers in Europe. Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2. We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords with bcrypt, and follow security best practices.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and file storage (R2)
• Google Fonts — web fonts (no tracking cookies)
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see your full card number)

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies:

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in
• Theme preference — remembers light/dark mode (localStorage)
• Workspace selection — remembers your active space

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and uploaded content within 30 days. Generated videos are deleted immediately.

8. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Access and download your data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your generated videos

9. Children

coolbananas.video is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the app.
